Supporting Japanese Living Abroad — From Return to Japan to Peaceful Retirement

Who We Serve

Our services are designed for:

  • Japanese citizens living overseas who plan to return to Japan for their retirement years—especially seniors seeking peace of mind about living and receiving care in Japan.
  • Younger generations abroad who have parents or relatives living in Japan and wish to provide care or support for them remotely.

The Challenges They Face

Many Japanese returning from overseas face complex issues related to housing, daily living, asset management, and end-of-life planning.

  • Housing:
Seniors are often denied rental housing due to age or lack of a guarantor, while finding suitable nursing care facilities can be confusing and time-consuming.
  • Daily Living:
Managing medical appointments, government procedures, and emergencies alone can be overwhelming. Many also worry about asset management should dementia occur.
  • After Death:
Elderly individuals without local family members often have concerns about funerals, estate management, and the handling of personal belongings. Meanwhile, family members abroad struggle with how to manage these matters from a distance.

These uncertainties give rise to deep emotional and practical concerns such as:
“Can I truly live safely and comfortably in Japan during my retirement?”
“If something happens to me, will my family be able to manage from overseas?”
