Shijo-Karasuma Law Office
Full Legal Support for Foreign Nationals in Kyoto
Our office fully utilizes the legal system and various administrative services to help solve your problems and to make your dreams come true. Due to my experience and being involved in municipal administration over many years I am able to make plans and offer a variety of solutions for clients. We hope to contribute to the modernization and internationalization of the medical field in Kyoto by concentrating on the establishment of medical corporations as our main work content. Additionally we are familiar with visa applications and procedures for non-Japanese concerning status of residence, permanent residence, and naturalization.
In our office, we support non-Japanese from a variety of nationalities when they want to live in Kyoto. We handle complicated procedures such as; residence status, permanent residence, and naturalization. For matters relating to status of residence and permanent residence, the director of our office can act as a proxy and deal directly with the Immigration Bureau so you, as our client, do not have to go to the immigration office. In the case of naturalization, when a foreign national wishes to acquire Japanese nationality, the principal must apply in person to the Legal Affairs Bureau without exception, however our office collects and prepares all the necessary documents in consultation with the Legal Affairs Bureau and related offices.
We can also process and apply for business licenses in Japan for restaurants, hotels, second-hand shops, transportation service etc.
