Professional help to solve communication problems
I began offering communication skills services in 2007, and in the 8 years since then more than 800 Japanese people have visited for training and seminars. I have designed unique methods that incorporate a variety of techniques such as NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming), Adler therapy, and Impro (improvisation play). The contents of the consultations vary to meet the needs of clients. Some typical examples of the requests from the clients include:
- I want to improve communication in my workplace
- I want to successfully change my job.
As the number of non-Japanese entering educational institutes and workplaces in Japan is increasing year by year, it is fair to assume that there will be a parallel increase in communication problems related to both language ability and cultural differences. To highlight this here is a case I was asked to consult on.
A clinical psychologist consulted with me in regards to a non-Japanese student who was experiencing a communication gap with Japanese students. The clinical psychologist asked me to design a training course that would resolve this situation. This initiative is quite advanced in the industry.
Professional psychological counseling and intervention will help both international students and non-Japanese employees to adapt to Japanese society and live a more comfortable and satisfying life.
